About Peach Season

It’s only once a year and I finally found what all the fuss is about only last year. Here in Virginia, we have access to some of the best the country has to offer: orchards, dairy farms, pastoral farms, apiaries, almost anything you can think of!

We kept it local and visited Henley’s Orchard in Crozet, Central Virginia. We were welcomed to walk around the grounds, and I think I’m trading my love for city life for the serenity of the country. Green Acres knew what they were talking about, huh?

I’m learning about canning and making the purchases and preparation for it for next year, and I plan to share all of my learning with you as I go along. I hope that you’ll let me know how you got started canning! Comment below or shoot me a message.

We had some peaches on the patio. My car (and my husband) thank me.

We made some new friends!

My little person also loved exploring the grounds.

I absolutely love peach season, and I always celebrate with this Peach Upside-Down Cake. What are your favorite ways to eat peaches?
